Common Pests: Mealybugs, Aphids, Spider Mites, Scale, Thrips.

Common Issues: Caring for a bottle palm tree is nearly effortless, provided they are in good soil, bright light and get moderate moisture. If the plant doesn’t have enough humidity they can be prone to spider mites. Be sure to wipe the dust off the leave every 6 months to a year . You can hose the leaves off or mist them with a spray bottle.

Comments: The trunk has a very distinctive, bottle-like shape -- narrow at the top and broad at the bottom. Unlike many other palms, these slow-growing palm trees remain quite small and are often grown in containers.
