Soil | Well-draining potting mix
Take your lemon plant indoors during the off season, and put it on your patio in the summer! Citrus can be used in beverages, essential oils, as edible fruits, and in spices. The plant is self-pollinating, but to get a better yield of citrus, manually pollinating the flowers with a paintbrush or Q-tip can greatly increase fruit count. Branches have thorns to be cautious of, but these can be pruned off without harming the plant.
