Common Pests: Mealybugs, Aphids, Spider Mites, Scale, Thrips.

Common Issues: Root rot if sitting in water. Cold drafts cause brown tips, full-sun can scorch leaves, too little light can cause stretching. Very susceptible to fluoride in the water.

Comments: Many different shapes, sizes, and colours available with different growth habits. One of the most common houseplants. 

Toxicity: Non-toxic for humans but for pets it will cause vomiting, depression, anorexia, hyper-salivation, and dilated pupils in cats, if large quantities are consumed.
