Philodendrons are undergrowth plants, which like good moisture, climbing which adapt very well to their environment. They like a bright place, but not the direct rays of the sun, which burn their leaves. The more its environment is lit, the more colorfull the leaves will be. You should also think about dusting the plant from time to time, because dust can clog the light considerably. This climbing plant will do well with a support or trellis. To make its foliage denser, you can pinch the new leaves.
